Job Description

UCR CAPS is looking for dedicated Staff Psychologists to provide direct clinical psychological service to the UCR campus. The primary responsibility of these position is to provide individual, couples, and group therapy to UCR students and prioritizes working with students from marginalized communities including Black/African American, Latinx, Undocumented, Indigenous/First Nations, Asian American/Pacific Islander, Multi-racial, and other students of color. These positions provide crisis intervention services; consult with students, staff, and faculty; may serve as a supervisor for our APA accredited internship program; and serves on University committees, representing the CAPS department. The Staff Psychologists will also serve as liaisons and provides outreach to various campus communities. UCR CAPS is growing and we are currently looking for three (3) licensed Psychologists to join our team!

Education Requirements

Degree Requirement
Doctorate degree (Ph.D/Psy.D) in Clinical Psychology or related Psychology discipline Required


License Requirement
Current, valid license to practice Psychology in California (or other state licensure in parity with CA requirements). Must maintain CA licensure through the Board of Psychology and maintain UCOP credentialing/privileging standards. Required


Experience Requirement
Minimum 4 - 7 years of clinical experience Required
